The Mane Event
Named for the number "42"-being the answer to life, the universe and everything (hair), we wanted to bring this full circle and create something special here in Charlotte, NC. Our inspiring and talented designers create hair masterpieces everyday and we wanted to provide them and our community with a special event to showcase their talent and bring you the best hair styles of the decades! Through our passion of HAIR and love for our Community Partners and the desire to support and inspire women and men everywhere, THE MANE EVENT was born! Charlotte's most premiere Hair Show!
Our vision is to support our community and we want our event to give back in a big way. We are donating a portion of the proceeds to Dove's Nest, Charlotte Rescue Mission's cost-free women's program. Dove's Nest supports and welcomes women and mother's with their children to provide them with a place to rest and focus on their spiritual, physical, social and psychological growth in a safe environment and helping aid them to recovery.
